| I'm in the process of finishing it off (still) and the mudding and taping is almost done. Do you think I should go with a smooth ceiling or get a texture (probably a knockdown texture) ?? If the ceiling is left smooth I may see imperfections, but if some of the tape were to be seriously fucked up and start falling off, it would be easier to repair. If the ceiling is textured, imperfections won't be seen so easily, but any repair would be impossible to do without serious work. I do suck at this whole drywall business, but where I lack in skill I've made up for in time spent. Someone who knows what they're doing can do a nice interior quality job in 2-3 passes, I've probably had to do about 5-6 with a ton of sanding. I can't wait to get this all finished so I can get back to tinkering with the Z. It's been far too long.
